Brief Impression (click on read more to see the full review): a complex and cozy spiced chocolate composition balanced by a discreet flowery note.

Providence perfume range of fragrances surprises you when you discover that they are all natural compositions. Natural compositions use to be realistic in the use and capture of aromas, but they in general they don't retain the smell for a long time, falling into a whisper after the two first hours. It's surprising, tough, that Charna conceals the use of only natural essences with complex compositions that last and average amount of time and retain the smell that names them the best they can. If there isn't bad options available at the range it's sure that everyone will find some ones that they like and suit them better than the others. Probably fans of creamy and gourmand fragrances will enjoy Cocoa Tuberose, a perfect chocolate idea for winter days.

Cocoa Tuberose evokes a warm ambient on a winter day. You have the sensation that the smell of your favorite cup of spiced chocolate is surrounding your air as you appreciate it. But it's not as if you had spilled the cup on you. The cocoa idea is dynamic and variates its facets as the idea goes on skin. The first moments reveal a creamy and boozy cocoa idea, where the vanilla is more evident at first. After vanilla you notice a discreet citrusy facet and a roasted greeness, both ideas only noticeable very close on skin as details that balance the cloud of vanilla and cocoa. There is also a sweet spiciness that produces a cinnamon like impression on this cup of chocolate. The spiciness last with the main idea until the heart notes, where the mixture open space for the flowery section, which is slightly fruity, camphorated, a sensual touch to the overall coziness, as if some fresh petals were dipped into the chocolate blend to add an unusual touch. The camphor aspect of flowers is transformed into a patchouli that represents the chocolate idea at the base with a dark and dry face. The tonka is used to added a little bit of nuttyness and avoid that the patchouli, vetiver and amber transform the last moments on skin on a too dry experience.

Cocoa Tuberose can be described in a word: comfort. It's the kind of comfort that you'll reach if you look for something sweet that is not sugary or not too vanilla dominant. It's a comfort able to create a dynamic and complex smell that lasts and that assumes a moderate sillage during almost the entire evolution on skin. Again, another compact and rich fragrance from a line that is very worth trying.
